Waltz of Chaos is an experimental three-part film, accompanied by live orchestration by three-piece chaos jazz band Random Damage Scissors which I’m part of.
Three parts of the film deal with knowledge, belief and ignorance respectively. While the amount of scientific data and human knowledge is greater than ever before, beliefs and ignorance are on the rise – at an alarming rate.
Film is cut procedurally during the screening so that the band (which relies heavily on improvisation) does not know what is to come. The film, as seen on screen, ceases to exist after the screening.
